Welcome to SFRR India 2027
We are pleased to welcome the global redox biology community to the 20th Annual Meeting of the Society for Free Radical Research–India and the International Conference on “Life Under Stress”, to be held at AIIMS New Delhi, India, from 17–20 February 2027.
Hosted at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, one of India’s foremost centres of biomedical research, medical education and clinical care, the meeting draws on a long tradition of scientific excellence, translational medicine and public health leadership.
Across organisms, tissues and environments, life is continuously shaped by stress. Infection, hypoxia, radiation, metabolic challenge and environmental extremes engage interconnected redox networks that determine adaptation, resilience, dysfunction and disease. SFRR India 2027 will bring together leading investigators, clinicians, early-career researchers and trainees from India and around the world to examine these processes across scales- from molecular mechanisms and mitochondrial function to physiology, disease and therapeutic intervention.
The meeting is designed as a highly interdisciplinary forum, connecting established and emerging areas of free radical research, redox biology and redox medicine. Through plenary lectures, focused scientific sessions, selected oral presentations and poster discussions, we aim to foster new ideas, international collaborations and meaningful exchange across disciplines and career stages.
We invite you to join us in New Delhi for four days of science, discussion and collaboration, and to help shape a broader global conversation on how living systems respond, adapt and survive under stress.
